We have had many happy visitors to our cottages. Below is a little sample of the kind responses we have received. Please see Trip Advisor for more examples of great write-ups.

Had an amazing time in this property. I booked this week to watch the eclipse which was amazing. I recommend visiting Looe, especially as a wheelchair user as it's very accessible and no cobbles!!!
Thanks for a lovely stay.

Love from Ellie & friends, stayed at Cider Press, August 2026

We have had a lovely hot week, enjoyed the area, beaches, cream teas, fish 'n' chips, ice cream, etc. Lovely farm, felt very welcome, made friends with Mr Hedgehog (comes to your door, so put out some food). Watched the eclipse, seen the meteor showers. Kyle found birds on his app.
Thank you for having us.

Thank you for a lovely stay in your beautiful Coder Press. The children loved the outdoor toys you provided. We enjoyed listening to the cows. It was ideal to venture out to look at other places or to stick around and just relax. The welcome pack was a a delight. Being shown around your farm was brilliant and Harry says he loved the cows.
Thank you for a lovely experience.
Thank you to Jonathan, Sarah and Matthew for being exceptional hosts.
Best wishes

Thanks to Jonathan and family for such a lovely stay. So helpful and friendly!
Visited many wonderful worlds - Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor, North Coats and beautiful St Mawes. It has been great!

Sue & Ian, stayed at Hayloft, October 2026

We have had a wonderful short stay. Jonathan and Sarah have been so very accommodating to our 'extra' needs. We live in Cornwall, but the opportunity gave us time to visit our favourite places - Cotehele in Cornwall and Dartmoor.
The weather has been glorious - how lucky we have been.

Yep another stay at this beautiful barn.
This place is a little bit of heaven. A place that is truly accessible for a wheelchair user is hard to find. But you have certainly thought of everything. Lovely place for 65th birthday celebrations. A lovely stay. Weather was beautiful in the first week and the storm hit just before we went home. But, we love Cornwall in the sun, rain and wind. So much so that we have booked another two visits already.
Thank you for everything you do to make our visit so lovely. Being so friendly and helpful.
We look forward to our next visits and seeing you again.

Perfect accommodation, beautiful weather. The Hayloft has everything we need and more. We have been able to spend a week relaxing with our son, who is in a wheelchair, in a way we've never done before. We borrowed a beach wheelchair from Adself on Sunmmerleaze beach in Bude, and went to the Eden Project. The National Trust at Cotehele, would recommend! Calstock really pretty - lovely for an ice cream and a picnic.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We'd love to come back.

Just a little note to thank you so much for our recent week’s holiday in the Hayloft on your farm. We were all blown away with the Hayloft cottage and could not fault it in any way it was absolutely beautiful and I will look at booking it again next year. The fine details you have put into the cottage is outstanding and the surroundings are so peaceful and relaxing. Thank you very much.

We have just stayed in the Hayloft for four nights at the end of October 2022. We had a family holiday with a wheelchair user and found the facilities very suitable and the cottage homely.

The location was great for holiday entertainment, beaches or interesting towns. We enjoyed a walk around the farm and sampled some farm goodies. Definitely planning a second visit.

Jo & family, stayed at Hayloft, October 2022

We've just had our first stay at the Cider Press and we can confidently say it won't be our last! A perfect set-up in a gorgeous location for our needs and everything had been thought about. It was refreshing to be away from home and not have to compromise our son's care. If you haven't been yet, you really must.

Naomi & family, stayed at Cider Press, August 2022

Just a short note to thank you for our holiday last week in The Hayloft. We were so impressed with the standard of the accommodation, and with all the thoughtful little extra touches – absolutely brilliant, and greatly appreciated.
It was lovely to meet you all. Thank you so much for all the thought and effort which has gone into the renovation to make the cottages such wonderful holiday properties. Our expectations were exceeded on all counts.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable break, and do hope we can come back soon. One week certainly wasn't long enough!

Sue & Mark, stayed at Hayloft, July 2022

What a fantastic holiday cottage to come to. The welcome package was gratefully received. Jonathan the owner, is a warm and friendly person and is always at hand for any help required. There are lots to do and see in the local areas. Local pub in worth a visit (Tavistock Arms). It has been a wet weeks, but we took the kids to Trethorne Leisure Park.
There is plenty to do there, so we have been a few times this weeks. We also went to Countryman Cider traditional cider makers, it was free to look around, and the cider was very good. Hope to be back soon.

Carol R, Bristol, stayed at Cider Press, April 2016

May. Our second visit. Everything as lovely as the first time. The cream tea and homemade bread on arrival were gorgeous. Give the National Trust Tea Rooms at Saltram and Anthony a try, both excellent. One thing to improve the weather (if only we could).

John and Maria, stayed at Cider Press, May 2018

We had a fantastic week holiday in the Cider Press Cottage. The weather was glorious all week!
We have been to a few cottages but this one is by far the best ever had everything you could possibly need in it and was lovely. Welcome pack was gratefully received. Enjoyed days out at the Eden Project, Paignton Zoo (highly recommended) Tintagel Castle (be prepared for very steep hills and lots of steps) Widemouth Bay near Bude – lovely beach. Plenty to do! We would defiantly come back again and tell our friends about it.

Go to Presingoll pottery if you like painting!

Daniel – aged 7, stayed at Hayloft, December 2017

Many thanks for the 'Welcome' home-made goodies and wine - a most pleasant surprise. The cottage is very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean in a good location. We have visited five National Trust properties of which Cotehele and Lanhydrock gave most pleasure. The cottage garden and lost gardens of Helligan were most enjoyable. Also visited Tintagel, Boscastle Pasdstow (superb shellfish), Polperro and Looe. Weather was superb for the whole week.
